Nicolò Golinucci, PhD

Nicolò is CEO and co-founder of eNextGen, where he drives the strategic vision and provides in-depth analysis on sustainability challenges. He holds a PhD in energy engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis focused on assessing the environmental and economic impacts of decarbonisation policies. During his PhD he developed MARIO, an open-source tool for advanced input-output modelling, which he continues to refine and use in eNextGen projects. Nicolò's professional background includes consulting and research roles in which he has applied his expertise in complex modelling to support decision-making and strategy in the energy and sustainability sectors.
