About Emanuela

Emanuela Colombo is Full Professor at the Energy Department of Politecnico di Milano and holder of the UNESCO Chair in Energy for Sustainable Development. She currently serves as the Rector’s Delegate for Scientific Diplomacy.

Emanuela has extensive experience in research and consulting on energy modeling, sustainability scenarios, and energy transition, with a focus on energy access in developing countries. She has coordinated numerous European and international projects on energy, innovation, and cooperation, collaborating with academic institutions, companies, and international organizations.

In eNextGen, she provides scientific and strategic support on impact analysis and assessment methodologies, contributing to the scientific direction of research and development activities.
